We are excited to announce the release of Mental Akses, the newest album from aspiring Japanese jungle producer Laxenanchaos. This seven track + three remix cassette tape is a brilliant exploration of braindance, jungle, acid, and drum n bass and is a shining example of the great works coming out of current Japanese underground dance scene. Since 2014, Laxenanchaos has been actively releasing split EPs and compilation tracks on his imprint Anybody Universe.  In addition, he released his debut album, I'm Laxenanchaos, in 2015. He regularly performs live in his native Japan with many other artists, forming the Japan Hard Crew, and occasionally plays international festivals such as Bang Face as a part of the Japan Invasion.  Mental Akses comes out on September 15 and is available for pre-order on our Bandcamp page on both cassette with included digital as well as digital only.

To celebrate the release of our second compilation cassette, DSO will be having a release party at saki in Chicago on Saturday, October 15! Lily, Jeremiah Fisher, Del Dot, and more are on the bill, and prints of artwork by friends of DSO will be available for sale.  Mark your calendars and party to some awesome sounds.

Deep Space Objects is excited to announce the release of our first compilation cassette!  Alpha Cygni is the first in a series of compilations, each inspired by a different constellation. This release, named after Cygnus, the swan, features six talented artists, including IG88, Lily, Del Dot, OB, XYZR_KX, and Kevin Polzer.  Each artist has  a unique style and sound, ranging from ambient and downtempo to acid and footwork.  It is an accurate representation of the wide variety of underground electronic styles that DSO is trying to showcase.

Deep Space Objects is proud to announce the release of Lily's debut, Psychic Jealousy.  Formerly producing and performing under the moniker Ultrademon, Lily turns a new leaf with a more harsh, real, and personal exploration into experimental beats. Psychic Jealousy is an eclectic collection of tunes which range from upbeat, melodic floor jams to hard, mind-bending broken beats.  It is a strong showing from Lily, who has been discovering her new life and is sharing her experiences through this wonderful album.
